Schoolchildren Meet with War Veterans

Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- Schoolchildren in South Hamgyong Province and Kaesong Municipality of the DPRK held meetings with war veterans on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

When war veterans Kim Won Ha, Choe Tong In and Ryang Won Gyu arrived at the venues for meetings, the schoolchildren warmly welcomed them, presenting bouquets.

At the meetings the war veterans said that the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War was a brilliant fruit of the original military ideology, strategy and tactics and outstanding commanding art of President Kim Il Sung, an invincible and iron-willed commander.

They handed over the national flags of the DPRK to students, asking them to devotedly defend the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who represents our life and future and the mightiness of Juche Korea, and safeguard and glorify the precious socialist system forever.

Those, who took the floor, expressed their resolve to mercilessly punish the aggressors and fully demonstrate the honor of the victor nation when the time of decisive battle comes again.

The meetings served as a platform for demonstrating the spirit of the participants to inherit the staunch revolutionary spirit and the spirit of death-defying struggle of the defenders of the country in the 1950s. -0-
