Production Goes up at Pukchang Thermal Power Complex in DPRK
Pyongyang, July 20 (KCNA) -- The Pukchang Thermal Power Complex is increasing the daily average power production by accelerating the technical upgrading of equipment and utilizing management methods suited to the actual conditions to improve efficiency.
Recently, the complex solved the scientific and technological problems arising in introducing a static exciter to save materials and manpower for the maintenance of the excitation system and increase the output of electricity.
It has pushed ahead with the maintenance and reinforcement of production processes in a planned way, including remodeling the measuring equipment of the electric power system, to raise the efficiency of generating equipment.
Giving preferential treatment to technicians and skilled workers and paying deep attention to ensuring the living conditions of employees, it is putting spurs to increased electricity production to attain a new long-term goal. -0-
